Winston Bao Lord is the Founder of LORD Advisory and a Senior Advisor at APCO’s International Advisory Council. Previously, he was the Chief Evangelist at OpenTable, leading the conversation in the tech and restaurant spaces with products that anticipate the ever-evolving needs of both restaurants and diners.

Prior to OpenTable, Winston served as Co-Founder and Chief Evangelist of Venga, a CRM and business intelligence platform for restaurants to analyze their customers’ purchases, habits, and preferences. In 2019, Venga was acquired by Booking Holdings (BKNG), the world’s leader in online travel. Booking Holdings’ brands include Kayak, Priceline, Agoda, and OpenTable.

Winston has over 30 years of marketing experience working with brands like Priceline, Microsoft, and General Colin Powell’s America’s Promise. As Executive Director, he led the successful effort to return Major League Baseball to Washington, DC after a 34-year absence.

Winston also currently serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Cornell University’s School of Hospitality Administration. He serves on the Boards of the Washington Ballet, DC Central Kitchen, and Urban Alliance.

Winston is a graduate of Yale University.
