Michael is current CFO of Xinhua Pictures, a Chinese producer of documentaries.
Michael was previously a director at Shune River Capital, responsible for investment and financial analysis and risk management, as well as strategic relationships in the technology industry, development and execution of consumer products projects.
He has over two decades of experience in strategic planning, private equity, industry research, management consulting, operational management, technical analysis, and investment. He previously held senior positions at Oracle and other high-tech and media companies. He also has over 15 years of experience in Asia doing deals in China, Hong Kong, South Asia, South East Asia and Australia.
Michael is also an early-stage investor in various businesses in emerging markets, and has also founded various companies.
Michael graduated from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) with a Bachelor of Computer Science and received an Executive MBA from EMBA Global Asia, which is a joint program of Columbia Business School, London Business School, and Hong Kong University Business School.
