Lester Ng

Head of Brand Partnerships, Greater China, Universal Music Group

Lester is a media & advertising veteran with over two decades in the business. Born and bred in Singapore, he moved to Beijing in 2005 for what was supposed to be a short term stint and ended up calling China home since.

During his career in advertising, Lester worked across the global advertising groups of Publicis Groupe, Omnicom and Interpublic. His last advertising role was with IPG Mediabrands China as Chief Growth Officer where IPG saw their most number of new client wins in the past decade.

In 2019, Lester joined Universal Music Group to head up UMG For Brands (www.umgb.com) for the Greater China region. This was a newly created role whose purpose was to elevate how brands can strategically use music, culture and entertainment in their marketing.
