Leo’s career path has been always been shaped by his love for creativity, technology and China. He knew he wanted to do something creative in life and advertising was the perfect fit. As digital marketing emerged in the late 90’s, he directed his career to where two of his interests merged. The third piece came into play when he had the opportunity to run a digital agency in China, a place he first lived in 1995.

Before W+K, he ran two of the leading digital agencies in China as Managing Director for Tribal DDB and AKQA where he rebuilt the company’s China practice.

In 2014 and 2015, he was selected for Campaign Asia’s Digital A List and serves on the iMedia Agency Summit Board of Advisors.

Leo graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Art’s degree in History and International Relations. He has lived in Mainland China for over twelve years, the last ten with his family in Shanghai. He spends his weekends making “stuff”, coding and building Legos with his kids. True geek.
