Mr. Penaloza has ten years of consumer internet business experience and six years of private equity and investment banking experience in Asia. Dominic is the Founder of Bestaurant. Bestaurant is a social tool helping users find the best restaurants by enabling friends to share lists of favorite restaurants. Bestaurant users recommend only one top choice per category per city so their friends know each place is great. Guided by the core principle that friends’ recommendations are the most efficient way to find great restaurants, Bestaurant aims to be a game changer in the restaurant and travel discovery market.
Before founding Bestaurant, he was the CEO and Co-Founder of Ushi, Worldfriendts.tv, SNS with 2.2 million registered members and 220 distribution partners including Yahoo! Japan, deemed by Techcrunch as a mixture of Facebook and Match.com.
Mr. Penaloza graduated from Canada’s University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business with an Honors Business Administration degree.
