Chinaccelerator is the first startup acceleratore to launch in China in 2010 and is the #1 accelerator in Asia in terms of number of companies accelerated, the amount we have invested in those companies and how much the companies raised from other investors post accelerator program (Gust, 2018). Description of Role

  1. Supporting in planning and execution of the accelerator program
  2. Front-facing partners for ecosystem building and collaboration
  3. Community events (Business & Fun) planning and execution
  4. Interact and build relationships with the Chinaccelerator community (Portfolio companies, mentors, partners)
  5. Facilitate bonding within the Chinaccelerator team

 

Your Takeaways from This Role:

  1. Experience in working in venture capital (VC) and learn how startups get accelerated
  2. Connections with key stakeholders in the tech ecosystem
  3. Project Management skills (Timelines setting, Dashboard tracking, Vendor liaising, etc.)
  4. Seasoned communication skill for both internal and external facing
  5. A deep understanding of the tech ecosystem of China & overseas
  6. “Work Hard Play Hard” environment, free liquor in the office for the team 24/7

 

Job Requirements:

– Startup and tech knowledge/experience preferred

– Ability to articulate ideas clearly & logically in both Chinese and English

– Ability to learn, be resourceful, and adapt fast in a team environment and independently (Having good initiative)

– Good sense of humor is a plus

– Interns must be able to commit to at least 3-4 months minimally

 

Additional Information: 

  • Location: Remote or Jing’An Temple, Shanghai
  • Hours per week: >20hrs
  • Start Date: ASAP • Minimum duration: 3 months
  • Internship Stipend: Unpaid (Negotiable if longer than 6 months in duration)
