As the Data Partner for Bristol Myers Squibb in Asia, Victoria Hoang counsels teams on data privacy and cybersecurity law, and defines data governance for enterprise-level initiatives across R&D, Manufacturing and Commercialization.
Victoria has over 20 years of experience in life sciences and management consulting.  She has served on several innovation incubation programs, most recently as the Head Partner for Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Affairs, spearheading digitalization efforts, measuring value and risk of a large portfolio of digital capabilties.
Prior to BMS, Victoria spent her career in technology consulting and with venture investment division for GREY Global in Boston and New York.

Timothy decided a career in finance wasn’t the right path for him after graduating with a degree in risk management. He had worked as a tutor in university and developed an interest in the dynamics of the tutor-student relationship. He also began questioning the efficiency of conventional, brick-and-mortar tutoring centers and thought that there was a better way.

In 2016, Forbes Asia named Timothy to the exclusive list of 30 under 30. Snapask is now supporting more than 4 million students with 400,000+ tutors in 9 Asian countries – Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea and Vietnam. Snapask raised US$35 million in funding in 2019, led by Asia Partners, Intervest, and Ondine Capital. The company, to date, has closed more than US$50 million in funding.

Rui Ma has fifteen years of experience in technology and finance, spanning seed stage to pre-IPO investing spread evenly between the U.S. and China. She founded Tech Buzz China in 2018 to educate and consult investors, funds and entrepreneurs on Chinese tech companies products, strategies and trends. She previously worked at 500 Startups as an investment partner, and spent a decade in private equity and mergers & acquisitions roles at the Raine Group, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch in both Silicon Valley and China. Rui holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, and additional degrees from Tsinghua, INSEAD, UIUC and Harvard University.

Nichapat’s key roles in Openspace Ventures are to search for investment opportunities in outstanding Thailand-based startups as well as to support Openspace’s portfolio companies in expanding into Thailand. Additionally, she is also a screening committee for Bangkok Venture Club, the biggest angel investor network in Thailand, as well as Thailand Seedstars World Ambassador. She has received The Prime Minister Award for Startup Ecosystem Evangelist in 2019.

Nichapat has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets. Her most recent position before she left her banking career was Executive Committee and Managing Director, Financial Markets for Standard Chartered Bank Thailand where she took part in driving the bank’s strategic planning and execution functions. During her 10 years with Standard Chartered Bank, she spent 2 years in China as Managing Director of Financial Markets Sales based in Shanghai. Nichapat obtained her Master of Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance from Sasin Graduate School of Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and spent a term on exchange at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Patrick Lee Co-Founder & Former CEO, Rotten Tomatoes

Patrick Lee is a serial entrepreneur best known for being a co-founder and former CEO of Rotten Tomatoes (rottentomatoes.com), a leading entertainment website focused on movie reviews and news. As the product and business leader for CDN, Edge Computing, Video and cPaaS under Alibaba Cloud, Yaw leads several product teams to build global products and drive international business growth.

Prior to Alibaba, Yaw was responsible for new market expansion in the Asia-Pacific region for Twilio (NYSE:TWLO). Yaw started working with Twilio as an investor in 2012. He joined Twilio as employee #1 in Asia-Pacific in 2014 and witnessed Twilio’s growth from a startup of 50 employees to a publicly-traded company of 2,500 employees.

Patrick Riley is the CEO at GAN and Managing Partner and Co-Founder of GAN Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital fund. Most recently, he was on the executive team at Techstars, where he oversaw its business development. He started his career working for W.L. Gore and Associates and moved into the leadership of the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. Patrick left the Red Cross to manage the West Coast sales and operations for a venture-backed healthcare company that had an exit before joining Techstars and GAN. In his spare time, he skis, cycles, travels and spends time with his incredible wife and two daughters.
